First version of the Xinerama HOWTO
This pages describes the first version of that Howto.
Some years ago (if I remember it correctly it was 1999), when Xinerama first appeared in XFree86 (today x.org) there was no documentation available. So I began to write the first version of the Xinerama HOWTO. But I never changed it to the format required by tldp.org, that was done by Dennis Baker, who maintains the Xinerama HOWTO today. The first version is online only for historical reasons.
